MTAC is proud to announce its first annual "MTAC Battle of The Bands"! Bands are invited to compete in one of MTAC's most unique events ever. The prize? Headline status on MTAC's main stage in 2010 and the chance to jump start your bands career on the anime convention circuit.

Getting involved is easy. Submit your band for consideration by the attendees of MTAC and if you're one of the lucky final 6 bands that get chosen to perform at the convention, you'll have your shot at greatness – of course, there's one minor hitch – it wouldn't be an anime convention without anime music.

That's right – the bands that make it up to the MTAC stage for competition are going to have to do their own rendition of a classic anime song… chosen at random for you! Bands will be given two months prior to the convention to prepare to perform the cover assigned to them and will have to play it live at MTAC along with an original song written by the band itself.
