Concourse Application Process
The MTAC Concourse is a place for artist to gather and feature their work to the convention public. MTAC wishes to encourage independent artists in the anime/manga community to share their styles and mediums with the attendees. It is designed to allow the artist to gain exposure to the public, sell their artwork, share their experiences with one another, and improve their trade.

All artists wishing to participate in the MTAC Concourse must go through an application process. Their work must be reviewed by the staff of MTAC before acceptance and registration. This is done to establish that all work brought to the convention is acceptable under the Concourse's rules. The following is a list of the steps that the artist must take in order to register for a space in the Concourse. Any questions or concerns can be directed to Yad Ming-Mui, Director of Art Exhibitions.

1: Portfolio Submission
The artist must provide MTAC with proof of their work for review. There are many ways this proof may be provided. Examples include, but are not limited to links to the artist's online portfolio, the artists website, the artist's deviant art account, a photo-sharing account displaying the artist's work, etc. This portfolio should include a substantial amount of the material that the artist wishes to feature in the Concourse. Click here to submit your portfolio via email.

1A: Proposed Product List
The artist must provide a list of all the works displayed in their portfolio that they intend to feature in the Concourse.

2: Portfolio Review
The artist's work will be reviewed by MTAC to establish if it follows the Concourse guidelines. All work must adhere to the guidelines available here (PDF). An artist may be accepted, but required to remove certain works that do not fall within the rules.

3: Confirmation
If the artist has successfully completed all of the above steps and has been accepted through the review process, a confirmation email will be sent.

4: Payment
Once the artist is accepted, the artist will be required to lock in their registration. The confirmation email will provide details for payment. Each table in the Concourse costs $35 - limit one per artist/studio.

4A: Registration
The artist must provide full LEGAL NAMES of individuals staffing their table (max two including the owner of the table) to the Concourse Director. Please also indicate if you are under the age of 18, and if you are a member of our forum. No pseudonyms or studio names will be accepted to book your table. These names will be used to check into the Concourse, please be prepared to provide ID upon checkin.
