Mohammad "Hawk" Haque is the artist behind the pen of the Applegeeks webcomic, and this year's Artist Guest of Honor.

Applegeeks is a weekly webcomic with full-color updates Monday and Thursday and AG Lite updates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The creative team is comprised of Mohammad "Hawk" Haque and Ananth Panagariya. Applegeeks has appeared on web for 5+ years beginning in 2003. After 5 long years, and with the help of comic book publisher Dark Horse, Ananth and Hawk are finally bringing Applegeeks to readers in print in June 2009. Applegeeks is about the crazy, strange, and often all-too familiar lives of a group of friends whose adventures have taken them from Japan and back to home sweet home.
