MTAC Infinity Artist Guest of Honor: Doug Smith
Ah geez. Yes - it's Doug! This man is one of the most well known faces in the convention scene and his years of being an artist in the anime
and manga industry more than illustrate just why he is one of the most popular guests on the circuit! MTAC is proud to also welcome Doug Smith
as MTAC Infinity's Artist Guest of Honor as he drops his mad skills to bring to life this year's Con Kitty design!
Johnny Yong Bosch
Johnny has loaned his voice to some of the most famous characters in anime
and fandom history. One of this best known roles was as Vash in Trigun while female anime fans, including my wife, have spent countless hours swooning over
his portrayal of Adam, the Black Ranger on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Greg Ayres
Greg Ayres has spent the last year rockin' his way through two new anime
series. As the loud-mouthed Hideki in Nerima Daikon Brothers, or singing with the the band in Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad as Koyuki. The once "Fanboy"
turned VA started working for ADV Films a little over five years ago, and within the first two years managed to snag two of his favorite roles in anime.
James L. Barry
James L. Barry recently illustrated the first "Warriors" trilogy for TOKYOPOP and Harper Collins. Volumes 1 and 2 were some of the bestselling OEL manga
of 2007. Having studied illustration at New York City's School of Visual Arts, James also created the original comic "Punzel" and is a frequent contributor
to the "Rabid Rabbit Comics Anthology".
Musical Guest: Peelander-Z
Have you heard of human bowling, wrestling and kung-fu action, or funny dance at the punk rock shows? Peelander-Z knows how to entertain the audience by dragging them into the show. One experience would capture you!! Peelander-Z is the best of the universe!
Musical Guest: Eyeshine
Eyeshine's 3 piece edge rock band is emerging as one of the most promising unsigned groups out of California. With an arsenal of songs delivering huge hooks, infectious melodies, and elusive lyrics.
Musical Guest: The Slants
It's been said that everything that could be done in music has been done already; new artists are inherently boring, with nothing that is original or creative to offer. But those people hadn't heard The Slants (yet), a band who has everyone screaming for some "Chinatown Dance Rock."
Musical Guest: The Man Power
The Man Power was formed in 2006 as a two-piece, loud, obnoxious rock and roll band straight out of Nashville, TN. Being influenced by equal parts of rock and roll, C list celebrities, anime, and a love for loud music, The Man Power is one of a kind.
Musical Guest: Chickenbox
CHICKENBOX! started one day in 1996 when Bob Box was driving in traffic. He started screaming and just didn't stop. This made lots of people very angry at Bob. He needed a way to yell at people without making them mad, so he decided to start a band and thus, Chickenbox was born.
Musical Guest: My Parents Favorite Music
Based out of a small Michigan Suburb town named Swartz Creek, My Parents Favorite Music (or MPFM for short) is the brainchild of a brainless 25 year-old child named Steffen Messinger. Started back in mid to late 2000 as an entry for a high school battle of the bands, the group comprised of Steffen along with help of his close friend Matt Steller and a small-town band.
