There are four distinct message feeds for MTAC available through Twitter.com. These feeds can work with your mobile phone, email, instant messenger, and RSS reader. I would really like to see all staff sign up for the staff feed and all volunteers sign up for the volunteer feed on their mobile. I see us using this more and more to reinforce meeting and event information. These will be fairly low traffic feeds so you won't need to worry about being spamed.

MTAC
This feed will only be active from the Thursday before the convention until the Monday after the convention. This feed will receive messages in regards to schedule changes, guest announcements, prize winners, convention related traffic information and other convention related activities and emergencies. MTACAnnounce
This feed will be active throughout the year. This feed will receive messages in regards to guest and dealer announcements, hotel information, newly announced panels, upcoming volunteer meetings, MTAC get togethers, and other vital MTAC information. If you are a die hard MTAC convention goer and want to be more involved with MTAC, you should be on this list! Join the Feed by texting "follow MTACAnnounce" to 40404.

MTACVolunteers
This feed will be active throughout the year. This feed will receive messages in regards to volunteer meetings and volunteer needs at the convention. If you are signed up as a volunteer for MTAC, you need to be on this list. Join the Feed by texting "follow MTACVolunteers" to 40404.
