When and Where is MTAC?
This upcoming MTAC is going to be April 15-17, 2022 at the Grand Hyatt Nashville hotel.

Is that Easter weekend? Why is MTAC on Easter?
We’ve chosen Easter weekend based on venue availability, hotel room rates, and event space rates. We regret that we cannot always choose dates convenient for everyone wanting to attend MTAC.

What are the hours of MTAC?
MTAC begins Friday morning and runs throughout the weekend until Sunday evening. Gaming rooms and video programming will run non-stop from opening on Friday to end of con Sunday. Panel programming starts at 10am and runs through late night. Specific parts of MTAC, such as the Dealers Room and Registration for badge pick up, will have set hours posted at the convention and listed online as we get closer to the event.

What are the registration hours?

Dealers’ room hours will be posted at a date closer to the convention.

Why should I pre-register?
Pre-registration is the only way to guarantee access into MTAC. The event has a maximum capacity, and once we’re sold out – that’s it!

Are you mailing badges?
Yes! We’re offering to mail badges for individual 3-day memberships ONLY. When purchasing your membership, select the MTAC Score – 3-Day Pass MAILED option and be sure to include an accurate shipping address. The mailed option ends earlier than regular registration so that we can prep the mailing, so be sure to buy yours soon!

Is there a limit on the number of people you’ll allow at the convention?
Yes, there will be a limit on the number of people we have at MTAC. Our venues have maximum capacities that are in place to ensure the safety of those who attend them. We are working with our venues on balancing the maximum number of individuals between the two that we can safely hold.

Can I order a membership for someone else?
Yes. However, as you are placing your order through the Eventbrite store, please be certain to specify the name of the person paying for the order in the billing information category. The name of the person picking up the membership and actually attending the event must be specified in the Membership information. Please review all information to make sure it is correct before confirming your order.

Can I order multiple memberships?
Yes. Select the appropriate membership number under quantity. Make sure you fill out the separate information for the Ticket Buyer and each person you are buying the Memberships for. We also have discounted group memberships available for groups of five or more purchasing three-day memberships.

Are child and parent passes available?
Children age eight years old and under are free with the purchase of a full admission by adult. Limit two children per adult pass.

How will I receive my confirmation/receipt?
You will receive your order confirmation via email, and records of your order are also saved in the EventBrite ticketing system.

What do I need to bring upon check-in to MTAC?
You must present a photo ID and confirmation of your ticket. You can present your ticket confirmation with one of the following three options: (1) a print out of the PDF ticket or tickets located at the bottom of your pre-registration confirmation email, (2) the PDF ticket opened on a tablet or smartphone, or (3) your ticket presented on the EventBrite mobile app. Only those named on the ticket can check in with it. Please make sure you present ALL of your tickets if you purchased multiple passes.

Do I have to bring a photo ID?
Yes. We check photo IDs at badge pick up and at age-restricted events. If you are also reserving a hotel room at the convention, the hotel will check your ID at their check-in. Plus it’s always smart to have a photo ID. If you are a resident in the state of Tennessee, go here to learn more about acquiring a photo ID.

Will you be checking IDs for 18+ events?
Yes, to gain admittance to any 18+ or 21+ events, we will be checking IDs at the door and randomly in the room, so be sure to carry your ID with you to any of these events.

What if I lose my badge?
MTAC is not responsible for lost badges. A single replacement badge is available from registration at full cost.

I have already placed my order but am unable to attend the event. Now what?
Typically MTAC does not offer exchanges or refunds. However with this unprecedented year, we will be relaxing this policy. If you need a refund or have any questions about your registration, you can reach us through our contact page by selecting “Postponement Questions.” Please include your name and order number, if possible.
