What is the MTAC Super Soirée?

The 2026 MTAC Super Soirée is a new event this year with the goal of exploring interest in reviving our formal ball and offering programming for those who want to take things up a notch. There will be gowns and tuxedos, ballroom dancing, and socializing with other ballroom enthusiasts. While the event is free with your MTAC 2026 badge, to maintain exclusivity and adhere to the ultra formal black-tie dress code, you must request a ticket ahead of time to attend. Tickets can be requested below.

Since this is a formal event, there will be a strict black-tie dress code for this event, similar to the MTAC Ball dress code in the past (think prom dresses and tuxedos). This includes no cosplays that are not in black-tie attire and absolutely no streetwear or non-dress shoes! Please research what is appropriate for a “black tie dress code” and email programming@mtac.net with any questions about the tickets or dress code.

Note: The MTAC Super Soirée is a ticketed event and tickets need to be requested ahead of time, at no cost to you. Entrance at the door will only be an option if we do not hit the capacity of the room once all the ticketed guests have arrived. This is an all-ages event, but everyone must have a ticket and must be wearing “black-tie” formalwear. No exceptions.

Tickets can be requested below.

If formal is not your thing, check out our Otaku Anime Prom on Friday night in Main Events. It is a less formal dance with a more relaxed semi-formal dress code.
